Hi there ;) This round is the MG RX-75 Guntank for the review.

Part 1: Runners

Dunno why, some of the pictures got upside-down while converting :P As usual, parts separation and color separation are done nicely, and there are pretty good detailing on the kit as well ;)

This kit uses a lot of ABS material too :)









Part 2: The Extras

This kit comes with a piece of dry transfer and a piece of dry sticker for additional detailing, and their quality is very good, as usual :)

This kit also comes with a LED unit for the panel which is a good additions ;) You could save the LED for 00 Qant tho :P





Part 3: Skeleton Build

The Upper Body

Very nice detailing for the upper body :) I uses gold color for the panel lining instead ;) Well... no articulation to talk about tho :P






The Lower Body

Nothing much to talk about besides the excellent resemblance of the inner mechanics! With proper masking skill and enough patience, one can make a very nice military style painting with this kit... I only uses gold and silver market to add some minor detailing ;)

I do not know much jargon of a tank, so I'm just gonna show some WIP pictures instead...

The Arms

What you see in the left picture below are the cannons mounted on the hand. These cannons (4 on each side) have a moving mechanism that resemble the shooting movement when the ring-like piece is turned ;)

Part 4: All Parts

Here are all the parts that are armored up ;)




Part 5: The Lower Body

The detailing goes well with gold or silver panel lining ;) I did colored the inner rim with silver color and the inner suspension with gold, although no one is going to see that :P







Part 6: Core Fighter

Guntank employes the same core fighter/block system as the RX-78-2 Gundam, and this kit resemble the system like the MG RX-78-2 Gundam v2.0. The core fighter is fully transformable as well.





Part 7: Upper Body

Since I've got the 30th anniversary version, I use the transparent parts instead ;) The vent on the chest could be switched on and off, the the cockpit could be open as usual.





Part 8: Arms

The arms are very nicely done, although it is by design that the elbow could only be bended to 90 degrees.




Part 9: Head

The head is pretty simple and straight forward. One surprise is that Bandai is actually included a LED unit to light up the control panel :) By the way, I'm sure you guys know that a Guntank could be controlled by 2 pilots, right?

Quick Review

Plastic quality, Parts & Color Separations

The plastics quality as very good as usual :) The parts and color separations are very nicely done as well.

Bandai have done a very good job in the inner details resembling most of the mechanics with ABS material. One can actually painting this kit into a military-style mecha instead ;)


Articulations

There's not much articulations to be mentioned here since this is more tank then MS :P

• Head/Neck: Normal
  
• Shoulder: Good! Pretty good pose-ability.
  
• Arm/Elbow: Normal... although by design the arms are not like MS such as Gundam or GM.
  
• Wrist: None
• Hand: None, but have cannons with moveable mechanism instead ;)
• Waist: Normal.
  
• Skirt Armour: Good.
  
• Hip/Tight: None
  
• Knee: None
• Ankle: None
• Wheels/Threads: Excellent move-ability!
  

Looks and Feels

This kit just look amazing! I love it :) Now I need the Guncannon to complete the Operations V!

This kit is not really for beginners or those who have no patience, but I highly recommend this kit as it gives a different type of building experience to the normal MS with legs ;)
